De Zwarte Ruyter is a new research and presentation space for contemporary art and visual culture which will take a precise role within the Rotterdam art world and far beyond. De Zwarte Ruyter operates from the belief that new expressions of art, the development of new or alternative ideas can best develop in a free and informal but critical environment.
